How to make Finland more FINternational? – Project results
”If we fail to match jobs and highly educated foreigners who are already familiar with Finland, we will lose talent overseas”,
Olli Pekka Heinonen, the director general of Finnish National Agency for Education
(A half of foreign university students are planning on staying in Finland, Aleksi Teivanen, Helsinki times 23.5.2018).
Although Finland offers an attractive working environment many international talents leave the country due to poor employment opportunities. At the same an increasing number of Finnish companies struggle to find talents with the right skillsets and the need for an international talent attraction is recognized at the governmental level. WorkBoost Summer Camp gathered together 25 international talents from 18 nationalities and 10 different study fields to find creative solutions to this problem and answer to the question “How to make Finland more FINternational?”. More information can be found on the WorkBoost project blog http://blog.workboost.eu/ .
We would like to welcome all FINternationally minded talents and companies to our info session on the project outcome! After the session there is time for discussion and networking. We look forward to meeting all of you, together we can make Finland more FINternational!
